Virginia Mae Overdorf (Wright), 94, of Dayton, OH. peacefully passed away on Sunday, February 5th, 2023 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born September 15th, 1928 in Whitesburg, KY, eldest child to the late Nick and Delilah Wright (Day).
Virginia was industrious and always worked outside the home but, what she was truly committed to was her family as a loving wife and mother, caring sister, and devoted daughter.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George and her eldest child, Robert "Bob" Blair.
Virginia is survived by her large and loving family, including her siblings, Richard "Buddy" Wright of Lexington, KY, Waughletia Little of Whitesburg, KY; Mary (Gerald) Kincer of Madison, AL, and Dianah Brown of Fern Creek, KY; children: Rosemary McGauhey of Lafayette, LA, David (Aurea) Angelo of Luzan, Philippines, Nick (Michelle) Angelo of Franklin, OH, and Sam (Tammy) Angelo of West Carrollton, OH; grandchildren: Robert (Melanie) Blair; Jason (Marcy) Blair; Christmas (David) Beeler, Mountain (Ronnie) Knotter; Victoria (Gray) Anthony; Jesse-Rose Angelo; Julie (Jason) Jasper; Nicholas (Sara) Angelo; Chancelor (Jackie) Wheelbarger; and Sam (Rhia) Angelo; great-grandchildren, Zoe Hunt; Jason William Blair; Brandi Blair; Jasmine Knotter; Noah Knotter; Cassidy Anthony, Avery Anthony, Cole Anthony; Haleigh (Zac) Davy, Kassidee Smith, Xander Smith; Camden Angelo; Dominic Angelo; and Kai Angelo.
Virginia's extended family includes nine nieces and nephews (all with children of their own), numerous friends, and neighbors from her 94 years on this earth.

A Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 18th from 12:00pm-1:00pm at Newcomer Centerville Chapel, 820 Miamisburg-Centerville Road, Dayton, OH 45459. A Funeral Ceremony will immediately follow, beginning at 1:00pm. Her final resting place will be next to George at Bethlehem Memorial Park (Bethlehem, PA).
