Virginia E. (Whitehair) Neuhard, age 95 of Miamisburg, passed away January 11, 2020. She was born April 13, 1924 in Winchester, KY to the late Tolbert and Ester (Cox) Abner. In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her former husband and father of her children, Henry Whitehair; former husband, Emery Neuhard; siblings, Dallas Abner, Geraldine Morgan, Enoch Baker and Donnie Bernard.
She is survived by her children, Vickie (Don) Moore and Mike (Tim) Whitehair; grandchildren, Tracy (Steve) Taylor and Jason (Jamison) Moore; great-grandchildren, Maria Taylor, Claire Taylor, Jack Taylor, Tula Moore and Lila Moore; siblings, Augusta Blair, Ruth (Don) Thomas and Theda Roush; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Virginia retired from Rikes bakery in Dayton and then retired from Kroger bakery in Miamisburg. She enjoyed baking cakes for her grandkids. Virginia previously lived at Grand Lake St. Mary's where she enjoyed fishing, she was an avid reader well into her 90's and a lifelong member of Miamisburg Christian Church. She loved to play cards with her family and friends.
Family will receive friends from 10-11 AM on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Newcomer Centerville Chapel, 820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd. where a funeral service will begin at 11 AM with Vailous Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Miami Valley Memorial Gardens, Centerville.
