Virginia Moses

Moses, Virginia Elaine (Gilmore), age 61, of Dayton passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2007 at her home due to complications of diabetes. She was born November 19, 1945 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Delbert Odell & Leona Grace (Allen) Gilmore. She worked as a beautician and a commercial driver prior to her retirement. She loved to crochet and was a gifted crafter. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jack Moses. Survivors include her sister, Delores Pleasant Jones of Salt Lake City, UT; brothers, David K. Pleasant of Dayton, OH and Charles Sherman Gilmore of Centerville, OH; step-children, Jack Jr., Larry, Linda, and Gary Moses; many nieces & nephews. Her dog, Bear and her cats, Shoes & Junior Earnhardt will miss her. A memorial service will be held at 7 PM on Thursday, October 4, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 PM until the time of services. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to Key Bank in memory of Virginia Moses.
