Virginia Louise Ballard

Ballard, Virginia Louise, age 82, of Dayton, passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2010. Virginia is survived by her husband of over 50 years: Harry E. Ballard Sr.; brother: Roy L. Biggs of NC; sisters: Loretta Biggs of TN and Linda Ely of VA; aunt: Pearl of TN; sister-in-law: Gladys Jones of KY; and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her son: Harry E. Ballard Jr.; mother and step father: Elva & Dowes Biggs. Virginia retired from TRW with over 30 years of service. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, April 26, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering with Pastor Andrew Brewster officiating. Interment will follow the service at Woodland Cemetery in Dayton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday afternoon from 1:00 P.M. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
