Virginia Lee Adams, age 88, of Dayton, OH, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, August 7, 2022.
She was born in Dalton, GA on May 18, 1934 to Andrew & Syble Wells. Virginia was the second of many children. She moved to Dayton in 1954 where she lived the rest of her life.
She was preceded in death by her late husband, Rexford Adams; former spouse, Charles Young; brothers, Clarence and Robert Wells; and daughter, Victoria Lynn Miller.
Virginia is survived by her sisters, Maxine Rhoads (James), Mary Allen, Libby Wright (Tony) and Rennie Brown; brothers, Butch Wells (Betty-Jo) and Eugene Wells (Lillie); son-in-law, Everett Miller Jr.; grandchildren, Randy Miller, Tye Miller and Clint Miller; 7 great-grandchildren; nieces, Karen, Krista and Jenae; and nephews, Justin, Seth, Shawn, Brandon and Shane.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 15, 2022 from 9:30 – 10:30 am at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424. The service will follow at 10:30 am.
Virginia will be laid to rest at Willow View Cemetery.
