Virginia Knob, age 83 of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born October 8, 1940 in Greenup County, Kentucky the daughter of Edward Arnett. She was raised by Edward Arnett and Florence (Cletus) Cox.
Virginia was an avid bird watcher and animal lover; hummingbirds and cardinals were among her favorites.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Knob; father, Edward Evertt Arnett; grandparents, Florence (Cletus) Cox and son-in-law, James Coleman.
Virginia is survived by her children, Allen (Carol) Yeoman, Lori (Mark) Cooper and Donna Coleman; grandchildren, Tanya Smith, Rob Cunningham, Elizabeth Guernsey, Aaron Guernsey and Tyler Guernsey; great grandchildren, Jason Knight, Brooklyn Knight, Aubrey Smith, Emma Guernsey and Brantley Guernsey; siblings, Bill Bradley and Jane Horn; god-daughter, Melissa (Chuck) Rhodes and her child, Jonas and many other loving family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made be made to SISCA or the Montgomery county Animal Shelter in Virginia's honor.
A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Calvary Cemetery. Family and Friends may meet at the front gate and process to the graveside together.
