Age 79, of Riverside, passed away Monday, August 28, 2006, at her home while under the loving care of Hospice of Dayton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James LeRoy Horst.
Virginia is survived by six children who considered her to be the World's Greatest Mother, Sharon & Hugh Slaughter, David & Elsa Horst, Cathy & Jr Trout, John & Barb Horst, Jackie & Pete Brooks, Susan & Craig Stanley; 17 grandchildren with one expected to be born in February; 13 great grandchildren with one expected to be born in March; and by one brother, Richard & Emmy Armstrong.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 511 Hart St., Dayton. Interment will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
