Virginia Gordon

Gordon, Virginia L., age 73, of Dayton, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at her home. She was born August 24, 1935 in Dayton, the daughter of Emanuel E. & Anna Evans. She is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Howard Gordon; children, Diana Gordon and David (Shirley) Gordon; grandchildren, Anna, Jennifer, & Shane; 5 great grandchildren and 2 on the way; and her sisters, Dorothy Sonye and Sarah Potts. A memorial service will be held at 7 PM on Friday, September 26, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH. The family will receive friends from 6-7 PM. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Hospice.
