Virginia E. "Ginger" Welch, age 76, of Miamisburg, passed away on Friday, October 3, 2014.
She was born on July 4, 1938 to the late Harold & Edna Isbel.
Ginger retired from Miami Valley Hospital in the Cardiac Care Unit after 40 years of service.
She enjoyed crocheting baby blankets and hats for newborns and prayer blankets for hospitals and churches. Ginger loved jigsaw puzzles as well.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Carl Welch, Sr.
Ginger is survived by her son, James C. Welch, Jr.; siblings, Harold Isbel, Jr. and Linda (Charley) Elkins; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 from 10-11 am at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will begin at 11am and burial will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
