Virginia K. Doty, age 76 of Riverside, Ohio, passed away on December 2, 2020. She was born November 19, 1944 in McRoberts, Kentucky daughter of the late Karl and Alice Day.
Virginia was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Virginia loved to travel around the world, going to the beach, reading her books, and watching movies. Virginia continued to work up until the time of her passing. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Virginia is proceeded by her, sister, Anita Rammell; and brother, Richard Day.
Virginia is survived by her daughter, Lisa Doty; grandchildren, John Doty, Justin (Carly) Doty, Heather (Victor) Evans, and Danelle (Ronald) Lemmings; great grandchildren, Mikala Doty, Justin Doty Jr., James Doty, Lillian Doty, Matthew Walker, Raelynn Lemmings, Mayor Graham, and Victoria Evans; sister, Karlene Rowland; and brother, Archie (Martha) Day; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, December 10, 2020 from 5-7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). Funeral Service will follow at 7pm at the Funeral Home.
The State of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face masks will be worn in all public places.
In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions can be made in her honor to the St. Vincent de Paul Gateway Shelter for Women and Families (120 W Apple St, Dayton, OH 45402) and AMVETS OF OHIO ( 1395 E. Dublin-Granville Road Unit 222 Columbus, Ohio 43229).
