Virginia "Jenny" Desaverio

Virginia D. "Jenny" DeSaverio, age 77 of Dayton, passed away Monday, February 5, 2018 at her home. She was born July 5, 1940 in Prestonburg, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Ossie and Anna Caldwell.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Col. Armand "Papa Dee" DeSaverio; brother, Jack Caldwell; sister, Lois Ann Caldwell.
Jenny is survived by her sons, James Cain, Larry (Josephine) Cain; brothers, Mayers Taylor Caldwell, James (Betty) Caldwell, Robert Caldwell; grandson, Nicholas Cain(Sommer Stroope); as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Jenny was a member of Pathway Baptist Church in Huber Heights. She was very loved and will be missed by many.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at 4 pm at Pathway Baptist Church (6166 Apache Street, Dayton, OH 45424), with Pastor Bill Whitt officiating.
