Virginia L. Chester, age 80 of Dayton, OH went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 28, 2019. She was born July 4, 1938 in Cincinnati, Ohio to William and Dathner Lawson. Virginia married Dan Chester June 24, 1985 in Dayton, OH.
Virginia and her family owned Master's Pizza on Wayne Avenue. She enjoyed watching TV, especially soap operas, loved cats, going to Golden Corral and the music of Conway Twitty. Virginia was loved by many, especially her husband and had the sweetest of personalities. She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
Virginia is survived by her husband of 34 years, Dan; two Daughters, Kathy (Paul Jr.) Wiggins and Julia Lederman; two sons, Phillip and Gordon Carpenter; a grandson, Waco (Rhonda) Wiggins; two great grandchildren, Callie Wiggins and Kayne Meade; her nephew, Isaac "Bob" Daughtery; and other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Guy Carpenter; and a grandson, Johnny Wiggins.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Valley View Memory Gardens, Xenia, OH.
