Virginia Frances Becknell

Virginia F. Becknell, age 66, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 17, 2019, at Soin Medical Center in Beavercreek, Ohio. She was born March 15, 1953, in Dallas, Texas, to the late Daniel and Elizabeth (Patton) Shull.
She married Milton Becknell on September 29, 1973 in Euless, Texas. Virginia worked throughout her career as an educator, first specializing in teaching home economics then transitioning to teaching English in the high school setting. She loved all things British and was a true "Anglophile".
Virginia's hobbies included reading, spending time with her family, hosting visitors at her home, and serving others in the community and from her church. She will be lovingly remembered as a woman whose faith in Christ was reflected in every aspect of her life.
Virginia is survived by her husband, Milton; her brothers, Gene and Danny; her children, Scott, Kelly, and Mark; and grandchildren, Anna, Lucy, Miles, Maddie, and Charlie.
Funeral service will be held on June 22, 2019 at 11 am at Far Hills Church Clyo Rd Centerville, OH. The family will receive friends 9 am until the start of the service at the church. Interment Bellbrook Cemetery.
