Virgil Hicks

HICKS, Virgil, 69, of Dayton passed away Friday, September 19, 2008. He is preceded in death by his parents Melvin and Maxine Hicks and sister Zola Peck. Virgil is survived by his wife of 45 years, Barbara Hicks; sons Scott (Kim) Hicks and Tim (Angelia) Hicks; grandchildren Samantha, Jessica, Rebecca, and Rachel Hicks; brothers Ronald (Ruth) Hicks; sister Faye Thomas; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Virgil was retired from General Motors after 38 years of services. He was a member of Leser Baptist Church in Tyner, KY. Virgil was really into his woodwork. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Tuesday September 23, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00AM prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
