Virgil M. Angus, age 94 of Centerville, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born June 10, 1928 in Bellaire, Ohio.
Virgil was Chief of Security at General Motors and retired after 37 years of employment. He was also a Beavercreek police officer, and is a veteran of the United States Navy having served in World War II.
Virgil is survived by his wife of 43 years, Susan; children, Rebecca Duibley, Cheryl (Mark) Burton, Robert Angus; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Gene (Cynthia) Freeman, William (Kitty) Freeman; as well as many loving relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his son, Daniel Angus; step-daughter, Patti Gibbons; and son-in-law, Dan Duibley.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Newcomer Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45459). Funeral service will begin at 3:00 pm, with military honors.
