Virgil A. Williams, Jr.

WILLIAMS, Jr., Virgil A., age 60, of Beavercreek, OH, passed away Monday, October 9, 2006. He was born November 20, 1945 in Connersville, IN, the son of Virgil A. Williams, Sr. and Mildred (Arnold) Williams. Mr. Williams served with the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era and then retired from the United States Air Force as a Technical Sergeant after more than 20 years of service. Virgil was a member of the V.F.W. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, JoAnne Williams; daughter and son-in-law, Shawn and Mike Wedge; son, Patrick Williams; daughter, Heather Williams; sister, Nancy Robinson; and beloved dog, Coffee. He was preceded in death by both parents. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 12, 2006 from 5-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd.). Funeral services will be held Friday, October 13, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Steve Woodman will be officiating. Interment will follow at Dayton National Cemetery.
