THOMAS, Virgaleen age 84 passed away October 27, 2011. She was born July 19, 1927 in Owingsville, KY.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Lillian Ginter; daughter, Veronica Lee Thomas, and her brother Charles Ginter, Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Leroy Thomas; son, Adrian K. (Joyce) Thomas, grandson, Michael Thomas; sister, Edith Darr; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was a member of Smithville Road Church of Christ and loved her animals. Virgaleen was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
The family will receive friends Monday, October 31, 2011 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home-Beavercreek, 3380 Dayton-Xenia RD. Interment to follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Montgomery County Animal Shelter.
