Violet Oliver, age 83, of Kettering, went home to be with the Lord Monday, March 14, 2011, after a brief illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy V. Oliver; brothers, Victor Waites and Roy Polson; sisters, Helen Wills and Ruth Bogan.
Violet is survived by her daughter, Deborah & her husband Bill Tesmer; son, Troy Ricky Oliver; grandchildren, Aaron and Joseph Tesmer, Courtney and Ryan Oliver; great-grandchildren, Madison Tesmer and Taylor Holiday; siblings, Edna Shineberger, Lillie Reynolds and Louis D'autremont; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Saturday, March 19, 2011 from 9-10am at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will follow at 10am. Burial will be at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
Donations may be made in Violet's memory to the American Cancer Society.
