Viola V. Back, age 88 of Beavercreek, passed away on April 21, 2012. She was born on November 8, 1923 to the late Arthur and Anna Leese. In addition to her parents, Viola was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Lloyd Back, Sr.
Viola is survived by her two sons, Lloyd (Donna) Back and Jim (Jennifer) Back; three grandchildren, Dr. Amy (Jesse) Back-Thompson, Jessica Carl and Justine Back; and other family members and good friends.
Viola was a devoted member of Peace Lutheran Church for over 50 years.
A visitation will be held on Friday April 27, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. A funeral service will take place the following day on Saturday April 28, 2012 at 10:00 am at Peace Lutheran Church, 3530 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Burial to take place at Woodland Cemetery (Xenia). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Viola's memory to Peace Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
