Viola "Connie" Strouth, age 86, of West Carrollton, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2021.
She was born May 28, 1935 in Tollesboro, KY to the late David and Myrtle (Polley) Doyle. Connie's career path was her family. She was a devoted and beloved Wife, Mom and Granny.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings, Harold Eugene Doyle, Dianna Faye Paul, Otis Leroy Doyle, Elmo Junior Doyle and Lena Marie Howard.
Connie is survived by her husband of 45 years, Lewis D. Strouth "Lew" aka "Paps"; 2 children, Don (Tanya) Adams and Dianna (Jack) Woods and step-son Mike (Betty) Strouth. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren, Lindsey (Derrick) Strouth, Wayne (Lisa) Woods, Matthew (Angie) Adams, Jeremy Heil, Benjamin (Jennifer) Adams, and Aaron (Rachael) Adams; 7 great-grandchildren, Tanner Strouth, Connor Adams, Jackson Strouth, Lanaya Adams, Maddie Adams, Amelia Woods, Penelope Woods; 2 sisters, Linda Conley, Louise Stamper; 1 brother Delbert Doyle and many other relatives and friends.
Connie loved her flower and vegetable gardens and canning the vegetables she grew. Most of all she loved her family and having family get-togethers especially on the 4th of July.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2021 from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am at Newcomer Kettering Chapel 3940 Kettering Blvd.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Connie's memory.
