Vincent Ricks

Vincent M. Ricks, age 43 of Huber Heights, passed away September 27, 2014. He was born July 17, 1971 at Chanute AFB in Rantoul, IL to Freddie and Doris Ricks. Vince was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles A. Hammond, Sr.; and grandmother, Elsie Shannon.

Vince is survived by his mother, Doris Ricks; brother, Freddie T. Ricks, III "Tiger" and his wife, Kellie; grandmother, Ella M. Hammond; father, Freddie Ricks; uncles: Charles A. Hammond, Jr., Richard Hammond and Timothy Hammond; aunts: Vinnie Butler and Phyllis Jones; great uncle, Eugene Hammond, M.D.; great aunt: Patricia (Richard) Jeter; great great aunt, Lillian Fambro; cousins: David Butler, Aaron Butler, Clifford "Tyrone" Bowersox; Masinda Meyer, Dashe "Felicia" Brooks, Charles "Lil Chuck V" Brooks, Mary Butler, Jonathan Butler, Timothy "Lil Tim" Hammond, Daquayla Moore, Richard "Lil Rich" Hammond; his cousins in Philadelphia: David, Alicia and Curtis; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:00 pm on Monday, October 6, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the family will receive friends for two hours prior to the service, from 2-4 pm.
