MILLERTON, Vietta, age 64, passed away peacefully at her home on November 26, 2005 surrounded by her loving family. Vietta was employed by Laid Law and was a member of Mt. Piscah at an early age. She was the national marble champion as well as champion in men and woman's fast pitch softball. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Gertrude Ward and her brother, Tyler Ward. She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, James E. Millerton, Sr.; daughters, Gertrude C. Millerton, Mildred K. Dawson, Marilyn A. Calhoun, Barbara L. Lewis; son, James E. Millerton, Jr.; brothers, Fred Odell of WI, John (Mildred) Ward, Gordon (Marilyn) Ward of Columbus, Howard (Judy) Ward, Luther (Lori) Ward, Gay Ward, James Ward; brother-in-law, John (Betty) Millerton; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends including special friends, Phil (Georgia) Gilmore, Herman (Carol) Henley, and LaDonna Jones. A special thanks to Dr. Gordon, Hospice of Dayton, and Grandview Hospital. The family will greet friends on Friday, December 2, 2005 at Vietta's home.
