Victoria Diane Luna, age 46 of Dayton, Ohio passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018. She was born April 25, 1972 in Tucson, Arizona the daughter of Alois and Catherine Nowoczynski.
Vicky was a 1990 graduate of Wayne H.S. in Huber Heights. She went on to receive her B.S.N. from Nevada State College as well a B.S. in Psychology from Wright State University and a Masters degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland. While attending Wright State, Vicky worked as a paramedic throughout the local area. While living in Alamorgordo, NM, She worked as a police and fire dispatcher. Most recently, Vicky worked as a Registered Nurse at Sunrise Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV.
Vicky was an avid runner. She mostly enjoyed being a mommy to her son, Noah. Vicky was a loving mother and daughter and enjoyed the time she spent with her family. They will miss her more than words can say.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Catherine Nowoczynski.
Vicky will be missed by her son, Noah Luna; step-son, Andrew Luna; husband, Antonio Luna; parents, Al and Sharon Nowoczynski; brother, Matthew (Amanda) Nowoczynski; sister, Katherine Richards; brother, Gerald (Marcie Whitaker) Bowerman; grandmother, Ella Mae Nowoczynski; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Family will receive friends Friday, August 10, 2018 from 5 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Vicky's memory to the Hospice of Dayton.
