Victoria Gibson

August 16, 1929 — September 23, 2012

Mrs. Victoria "Tootsie" Gibson was borm August 16, 1929 to Reverend Beb and Mary Spencer Smith in Little River County, Ashdown, AR. She gave her life to the Lord at an early age and served as an active member of Craig Chapel A.M.E Church in Ashdown, AR. She was active on the usher board, in mission duties, and was one of the original members of F.H.C. (Faith, Hope, Charity). She carried out her servitude until her health began to decline. She retired to Dayton, OH in 1991. President of the Gift of Love in Dayton, OH. She went home to be with The Lord on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Grandview Medical Center, Dayton, OH.

Mrs. Gibson was preceded in death by her parents, Beb and Mary Spencer Smith, Husband, Perry Gibson; sisters, Irene Graves, Lola Mae Neal, and Avery Neal; and brother, Reverend, Phillip Smith.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Valda "Chris" Boyd (Cleophus) and June Smith, both of Huber Heights, OH; her sons, Kenneth Gibson of Wake Village, TX and Peter Trotter of Cedar Hill, TX; 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; special friends, Mildred Gibson, Mollie L. Smith, Evondia Jones, Gail Bankhead and a host of nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends.
