Victoria Jane Cornick-Crowe, age 67 of Miami Twp. passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2023. She was born May 2, 1956 in Norman, Oklahoma, the daughter of Davis and Barbara Vandivier. She graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a Bachelors Degree in Hospital Management. She worked for Kettering Hospital for 29 years. Victoria was a staunch supporter of the American Heart Association and Breast Cancer Awareness and would participate in area marches every year. Victoria was a loving mother and grandmother. Her family was the center of her life and she would always be there to support her kids and grandkids during sporting and music events. Victoria loved to dance and listen to all kinds of music. She loved to be at the beach, especially Anna Maria Island. Victoria was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Bengals and Reds. She was the glue of her family and the best example of "loving your neighbor" that anyone could ever meet. Victoria will be loved and missed by numerous family, friends and people whose lives she touched.
Victoria is survived by her loving companion of 27 years, Kenneth R. Crowe; daughter, Amanda R. (Josh) Deeter; son, James R. Cornick; grandchildren, Samantha R. (Dylan) Foster, Joseph S. Ciarlo, Arya Jane Cornick and Zayna Rose Cornick; sister, Valerie A. Southerland; brothers, Davis W. Vandivier, Paul Douglas Vandivier, William Jeffrey (Joanie) Yates, Dave (Rosemary) Yates, George Radford (Patty) Yates; beloved doggies, Lucy and Smokey; and by numerous other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Barbara J. and Davis R. Vandivier; and adoptive parents, George and Helen Yates.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 from 11:00 - 12:30 am at Newcomer Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Road, Dayton, OH 45459). A memorial service will begin 12:30 pm.
Victoria's service will be livestreamed at the scheduled service time.
