Victor Lee "LeRoy" Mullins
Age 73, of Dayton, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2009.
Victor is preceded in death by one daughter, Vicki Lynn Mullins-Hodge; his parents, George & Grace Mullins; and by four sisters and one brother.
Victor was a loving husband to his surviving wife of the past 55 years, Mary (Rowley) Mullins. He is also survived by one daughter & son-in-law, Terry & Steve Oakes; son-in-law, Jeffrey Hodge; five grandchildren, Aaron (Kim), Brian (Kathryn) and Matthew Oakes, Justin and Chandler Hodge; one great grandson, Aiden Oakes; two sisters, Mary Emma (Bob) McCabe and Janet (Don) Koons; one brother, George Mullins; and by his extended family and many good friends.
Victor retired from the City of Dayton Street Maintenance Department with 32 years of service. He was an avid golfer.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday (TODAY) at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home with interment to follow at Willow View Cemetery.
