Victor I. Frantz II, age 81 of Dayton, OH, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2018. He was born July 26, 1936 in Troy, Ohio to the late Victor and Drusilla Frantz.
Victor was a graduate of Troy H.S. and Tiffin University. He served in the U.S. Army during the Berlin Crisis. He retired from NCR as a corporate accountant. Victor was a member of the Franklin Lodge #14 in Troy, OH and just recently received his 50 year pin. He was also a member of the Scottish Rite and the Antioch Temple. Victor was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a proud member of the Studebaker family. Victor never met a stranger and will be remembered for his wisdom and wit.
Victor will be missed by his loving wife of 52 years, Mary Lou; children, Stephanie Frantz, Todd (Jen) Frantz, Chris (Heidi) Frantz and Seth Frantz; 7 grandchildren, Amanda (Kevin) Dietz, Josh and Ryan Thoma; Sofia and Ben Frantz; Mason and Mylie Frantz and loving brother, Nelson (Nancy) Frantz.
Family will receive friends Thursday, July 12, 2018 from 4-6 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH. A Masonic service by the Franklin Lodge #14 will begin at 6 p.m. immediately followed by the funeral service.
