Vicki Lynne Krapf, age 53 of Dayton, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at Hospice of Dayton, after a courageous battle with melanoma. She was born July 27, 1963 in Inglewood, California the daughter of Chuck Ainsworth and Cheryl Petersen.
She is preceded in death by her son, Anthony Wayne Sabia; grandmother, Nettie Cochran; father-in-law, Larry E. Krapf.
Vicki is survived by her husband of 22 years, Kevin Krapf; son, Christopher Mark (Stefanie) Sabia; daughter, Danielle Lynne Sabia (Mike Dillon); grandchildren, Anthony Wayne Sabia, Jr., Kyliee Lynne Dillon, Nolen Christopher Sabia, Kloe Payton Dillon, Hayden Sabia, Parker Sabia, Carter Parsons, Adelyn Grace Sabia; brothers, Jimmy (Betty) Cochran, Billy Cochran; best friend, Joann Wright; mother-in-law, Elsie M. Krapf; brother-in-law, Fred (Darcy) Krapf; niece, Madison Krapf; as well as many, many, many friends.
Vicki was employed as a contract compliance officer with the City of Dayton for the last 20 years. On the weekends she enjoyed bartending at Julia's Nightclub, but her greatest love was her family and spending time with her grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 from 5 pm to 8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home- South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 11:00 am also at the funeral home.
