Veronica "VG" Barbara Strady, age 77, of Dayton, OH passed away on Tuesday May 21, 2013.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Cecilia McCann; sister, Rosie Koos; and brother, Martin McCann.
She is survived by her children, William Strady III (Jill Bissinger), Sean Strady and his wife, Cindy, Scott Strady and his wife, Amy, and Barbara Strady-Rowland and her husband, Rich; six grandchildren, who are the love of her life, Lauren, Monica, Connor, and Cullen Strady, and Rachel and Stephanie Rowland; brother, John McCann; and special friends, Laura Heinrich and Jennifer and Jamie Grushon.
Receiving of friends visitation is Tuesday May 28, 2013 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel), Kettering, OH.
Mass of Christian Burial is Wednesday May 29, 2013 at 12pm at St. Albert the Great Catholic Parish, Kettering, OH.
Interment is in Calvary Cemetery.
A Celebration of Life to follow at Benham's Grove.
Flowers accepted or donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
Arrangements are by the Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel), Kettering, OH.
