Vernon Wagers, age 87, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord Friday, April 5, 2024.
Vernon was born in Barboursville, KY on June 3, 1936 to the late Frank & Cordie Wagers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several siblings.
Vernon is survived by his wife of 70 years, Evelyn Wagers; daughters, Brenda (Dwight) Jones, Carol Messer and Lois (Roy) Robinson; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Olamae Smith and Geneva Smith; and many other relatives and friends.
Vernon will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He will be laid to rest at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
