Vernon E. Ritter, age 81, of Kettering, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017.
Vernon was born in Lockington, Ohio on May 28, 1936 to the late Edward A. & Stella May Ritter.
Vernon retired from WPAFB after 47 years of civilian service. He loved music, especially jazz and blues, photography, spending time with his wife, going to concerts with his daughter, and hanging out with his best friend, Stewart and buddies at Ode English.
Survived by his devoted & loving wife, Sue A. (Robinson) Ritter and daughter, Susan K. Ritter and beloved "grandpets", Max-A-Million and Dino.
Services on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 1:30pm at Newcomer South Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Family will greet friends from 1pm until the time of service. Vernon will be laid to rest at David's Cemetery.
