Vernon R. Williams, "Vern", 53, of Bethel Twp., passed away suddenly on Monday, July 18, 2016.
Vern was an amazingly hard working man, he was self- employed for many years as a carpenter, working on numerous local homes. He was an amazing father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle. Vern LOVED his grandbabies, and he loved his dog, Baird. He loved staying busy. Vern was an amazing athlete and was inducted into the Bethel High School Hall of Fame for Cross Country Track.
He is survived by his 2 daughters, Jessica (Chris) Nicholson, Ashley Williams; 2 grandsons, Lucas and Waylon Nicholson; step-daughter, Christine Sauers; his parents, Billy and Phyllis Williams; brother, Billy (Becky) Williams, sister, Jessica (Sean) Kelley, brother, Edward (Jennifer) Williams; 2 nieces , numerous nephews; special friends , Randy Ellish, and Gayle Lutz, and many other relatives and friends.
Vern was preceded in death by his Grandpa and Grandma Guess, and his Grandpa and Grandma Williams.
A celebration of Vern's life will be held at 3:00pm Saturday, July 30, 2016 at his home, 6955 South State Route 201 Tipp City, Ohio 45371.
