Vernon C. Greenlee, age 79 of Riverside, passed away September 18, 2013. He was born July 17, 1934 in Knoxville, TN to the late Harvey and Annie Lee Greenlee. In addition to his parents, Vernon was preceded in death by his wife, Cora.
Vernon is survived by his children: Bill (Sue) Greenlee, Charlotte (Don) Price, Chuck (Cindy) Greenlee, Ted (Mary) Greenlee and Tom (Lisa) Greenlee; 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brother, Robert (Gail) Greenlee; sisters: Betty Mardis and Cindy Hildebrand; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Vernon was a veteran of the U.S. Army, Korean War and retired in 1986 from Duriron after many years of service. Vernon loved to be outside; he especially enjoyed gardening and landscaping. In his earlier years, he enjoyed camping and fishing.
