Vernon David Adkins, age 61, of Moraine, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2014.
Vernon was an avid and accomplished musician.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey & Mildred Adkins; son, David Kelly Carpenter; brothers, Dalford & Harold Adkins and brother-in-law, Woody Flynn.
Vernon is survived by his wife Teresa Adkins; daughters, Casey (Jason) Boston, Melissa Adkins and Amie (Andy) Payne; grandchildren, Ciera Donthnier and Max Boston; siblings, Tommy (Pauline) Adkins, Annie (Kenny) Hill, James (Dee) Adkins, Nellie (Rich) Sullivan, Dora (Jack) Abrams, Violet Flynn, Terri (Jim) Razauskas, and Sandy (Larry) Sizemore; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will take place on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 from 5-8 pm at The Moraine Civic Center (3050 Kreitzer Rd, Moraine, OH 45439).
