Vernon "Cory" Bowling

Vernon Cory Bowling, age 45, of Kettering, passed away Monday, October 1, 2019. He was born January 7, 1974 in Richmond, Indiana the son of William and Sondra (Richards) Bowling.
Cory was a loving father and uncle who had a huge personality with a wicked sense of humor. Cory and his nephew, William had a very special bond. They would spend many days working on their golf game. Cory graduated from Northmont High School where he excelled as an honor student. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially camping, fishing and hiking. Cory loved working at Lord and Triangle as a Machinist Programmer and Operator. Cory was a sport enthusiast who rooted for OSU, the Reds and the Bengals.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Barbara and Wayne Davey; John Richards; paternal grandparents, Vernon and Alma Bowling.
Vernon is survived by his two loving daughters, Morgan Bowling, Kearstan Bowling; step-son, Dylan Nelson; parents, William and Sondra Bowling; sister, Angela (Matthew) Baker; niece, Angelina Baker; nephew, William Baker; all his friends at New Hope Church; along with extended family and friends.
A celebration of life for Cory will take place at a later date.
