Vernia (Jones) Morgan, age 89, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022. She was born November 16, 1932 in Hyden, Kentucky to the late George and Mary (Napier) Jones.
Preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband of 59 years, Eugene; son Tony Craig; siblings Lois Rich, Kathleen Jones, Avery Jones, Veronica Deaton and Betty Gilbert.
She leaves to cherish her memory, sons; Ronald (Sherry) Morgan, Tim (Deanna) Morgan; grandchildren, Tosha (Jeff) Couchot, Ty (Dawn) Morgan, Jacob (Ashley) Morgan, Kayla (Garrett) Rayney, Jonathan (Nicole) Gray and Christopher (Emily) Gray; great-grandchildren, Christian, Ezekeil and Elijah Couchot, Reese, Gabe, Hannah and Zoe Morgan, Will and Max Morgan; Nathaniel, Connor and Everly Gray, Baker Eugene Rayney and brother, Larry (Mary) Jones, as well as a host of dearly loved nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.
A loving mother, adoring grandmother and the best mother-in-law, Vernia was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
