Verna Frueauf

FRUEAUF, Verna A., 92 of Kettering passed away Monday, April 3, 2006, at Hospice of Dayton. A longtime area resident, she spent her life supporting her family, church, and community. She was preceded in death by her parents, John & Mabel Larsen; John, beloved husband of 61 years; daughter, Carolyn; granddaughter, Darcy; and brothers, Anker and Wilbur. Verna is survived by her children, Barbara North & David; grandchildren, Kenneth North & wife Sharon and Allyson Frueauf; great-grandchildren: Breanna & Ashley North; brothers, Cliff, Merle, and Wayne Larsen. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church for over 50 years, serving as Sunday school teacher, circle leader, and faithful member. She served the broader community by quilting and volunteering with Lutheran Social Services and Kettering Senior Citizens. Visitation will be held 10-11:00AM at Faith Lutheran Church, 3315 Martel Dr., Dayton, where funeral services will begin at 11:00AM, Pastor Steve Kimpel, officiating.
