Verna Faye "Faye" Brookshire (Moore), Age 85 of Moraine, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2020. Born December 29th, 1934 in Livingston TN, daughter of Zinie and Gladys Moore.
Faye is preceded in death by her parents Zinie and Gladys Moore and her son Gregory Wayne Brookshire.
She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Jack Brookshire; sons, Mark Brookshire; Jeff Brookshire; James Brookshire, wife Nancy (Trimble) Brookshire; Chris Brookshire, wife Katie (Anello) Brookshire. Daughter in Law Debbie (Wright) Brookshire. Grandchildren, Lindsey Maxwell (Seth), Chad Brookshire, Shane Brookshire (Brittney), Hannah Robinson (Kameron), Racheal Brookshire. And nine great-grandchildren. Faye is also survived by her sister Barbara Gaye Shiveley (Paul). Nieces, Donna Schnieder (Greg), Cindy Christian (Mike), and Denise Shiveley (Brent Bartley) In addition to devoted friends.
The family will be having a private memorial service and in lieu of flowers have asked that donations be made to Hospice of Dayton, Inc. 324 Wilmington Ave, Dayton, OH 45420 or to Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5550 Munger Rd. Dayton, OH 45459.
