Verna (Kochendorfer) Deis age 85, of Riverside, passed away Friday, July 19, 2019.
She was born July 26, 1933 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Joseph and Clara Kochendorfer.
Verna is survived by her daughters Ann (Kyle) Rudd and Nora (Hwan) Cho; grandchildren Anthony (Sarah) Wheeler, Adam Cho, Zachary Rudd and Hannah Cho; great grandchildren Zoey, Joel and Ella Wheeler; brother Jerry (Joyce) Kochendorfer; sister-in-law Cheryl Kochendorfer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her husband of 58 years Norman, her brother Steven Kochendorfer and her great nephew Eric Schneider.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 25, 2019 from 6-8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432.
Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, July 26, 2019 at 10:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 310 Allen Street, Dayton, Ohio 45410. Burial at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association in Verna's memory.
