Vern Kunz

KUNZ, Vern, age 81, of Beavercreek, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents, Martha and Vernon J. Kunz; sister, Norma McLain, and son-in-law, John Baker.

Vern is survived by his wife of 57 years, Carole (Crosley) Kunz; children, Lynn Baker, Mike (Clarann) Kunz, Steve Kunz, and Leslie (Matt) Reynolds; grandchildren, Jeniffer (Brandon) Grodi, Daniel Baker, Garrett Reynolds, Cole Reynolds, and Heidi Reynolds; great grandchild, Hudsyn, as well as special niece, Teresa McLain, and nephews, Butch and Bill (Mary) McLain.

He was a Korean War veteran with the U. S. Army Air Corps. He was an avid Ohio sports fan and he and Carole enjoyed spending winters in Florida.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Thursday, February 5, 2015 with a funeral service following at 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek. If desired donations may be made to the Hospice of the Miami Valley.
