SMITH, Venice E. age 74 of Huber Heights, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2005 at Good Samaritan Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents Michael and Fiorina Lopardo, her brother Mario Lopardo, her sisters Inez Lopardo and Yolanda Allen. She is survived by her sons Michael Smith, William Smith Jr., both of Huber Heights, Adam Smith of Dayton, her daughter Amy and husband Harry Watson of New Carlisle; grandchildren Garrett and Brooke Watson, and Dustin Ofzky; sister and brother-in-law Elvira "Cricket" and Peter Garafolo of Cape Canaveral, FL; sisters Loretta MacDonald and Gloria Charron both of North Adams, MA; and a host of other relatives and friends. Venice retired from Good Samaritan Hospital after 30 years of service and was currently employed at Huber Health Center. She was a member of St Peter Catholic Church and the Red Hat Society. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am Thursday, October 13, 2005 at St. Peter Catholic Church 6161 Chambersburg Road, Huber Heights, Fr. Earl Simone celebrant. Family will receive friends from 5-8 pm Wednesday at Newcomer Funeral Home 4104 Needmore Road. Interment at Forest Hill Memorial Gardens.
