Veneronda Fite

Veneronda Fite, born April 6, 1934 in Kentucky, left this world on October 2, 2010. She left us to be in a better place; in the arms of Jesus. Veneronda worked for many years in the nursing field, a specialty she truly loved. She was preceded in death by parents, Mervin and Anna Caudill, biological father, Jimmy Calhoun; and brothers, Hal and Edward Caudill.

She is survived by daughter, Chris (Donald) Couch; sons: Clifford "Stoney" Stonerock, Clyde "Chick" Stonerock, Corey (Shannon) Stonerock, and a grandson she raised, Jeremy Stonerock. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; sisters and brothers: Dorothy Etherington, Barbara (Virgil) Tipton, Clotele Williams, Evelyn (Chuck) Rupert, Rita Coburn, Deborah Caudill, Connie (Dennis) Himmelberger, Ronald Caudill, Lora (Alfred) Schmolinski, Vickie Weaver, Ava (Kevin) Scott and Herschel (Jeree) Caudill; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Veneronda was a member of F.O.E. # 3491, New Carlisle.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Tuesday at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, October 6, 2010. Rev. David Spriggs and Rev. Ron Lee co-officiating. Burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park. The family wishes to thank Crossroads Hospice for all their love and support.
