Velma Moore, age 92, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away August 23rd, 2023. Velma was born in Clarkrange, Tennessee on June 28th, 1931 to the late Edmon and Nancy Teeple.
Velma was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers; Hershel, Tilbert, and James Teeple, her sisters; Zola Teeple, Hazel Young, and Geneva Green, her husband, David Moore, her children; Karen Slouffman and Michael Moore. She is survived by her grandchild, Sarah J. Slouffman.
She was a member of Patterson Park Church for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, baking, crocheting, and gathering with friends and family.
