Velma Margaret Barnett, 92, of Dayton, OH passed away Thursday March 22, 2012.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harry Barnett; and daughters, Betty Penrod and Janice Octavec.
Survivors include her daughter, Marilyn (Ed) Steckel; son-in-law, Dave Penrod; grandchildren, Larry Penrod, Jeffrey Penrod, Robin Nuttall, Julie Youssef, Bradley Lawrence, Carrie Mashburn, and Brian Steckel; and sister, Lucille Boyer.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to all the employees and caregivers at the Grand Court of Dayton Assisted Living and Hospice of the Miami Valley for their loving and caring support.
Memorial service is Sunday March 25, 2012 at 2pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home (Beavercreek Chapel), Beavercreek, OH.
Donations may be made to Hospice of the Miami Valley, Xenia, OH.
