Velaska Taubert

Velaska E. Taubert, age 84, of Dayton, passed away September 8, 2021. She was born August 24, 1937 in Jamestown, TN to the late John and Myrtie Crabtree. In addition to her parents, Velaska was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Taubert; son, Wendell Keith Taubert; granddaughter, Casey Taubert; sister, Madge Upchurch; and brother, Kenneth Crabtree.

Velaska is survived by her son, Jim (Beverly) Taubert; daughter, Linda Taubert; grandchildren: Dustin Taubert and Benjamin Taubert (Sarah); great-grandchildren: Mathew, Timmy, Amelia, Joseph, Maggie and Alyssa; sister, Maxine Brenner; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Velaska was a member of Northridge United Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held from 12:30-1:30 pm on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 1:30 pm.
