Veda E. Smith

SMITH, Veda E., age 80, of West Carrollton, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2008 at her home. She was born in Dayton October 29, 1928, to the late William and Grace Kirk. Veda was an active member of Central Christian Church for over 50 years. Veda is survived by her daughter Karen Smith; grandchildren Andrew and Sean Green; brother Howard Kirk; and sister Anita Breeze. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Harry Smith. The family will receive friends Friday, November 28, 2008 from 5-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Kettering Chapel. The funeral service will be held Saturday, November 29, 2008 at 10:00am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
