Vaughn Oliver

Vaughn S. Oliver, age 89, a former resident of One Lincoln Park, passed away September 15, 2015 at Heartland of Miamisburg. He was born July 8, 1926 in Wilmington, OH to the late Asa and Hazel Oliver. In addition to his parents, Vaughn was preceded in death by his wife and mother of his children, Betty Oliver. He later married Mary Oliver who also preceded him in death.

Vaughn is survived by his sons: Barry (Debra) Oliver, Bob (Cathy) Oliver and Jeff (Barb) Oliver; 6 grandchildren: Jason, Mark, Steven, Sarah, Kevin and Matthew; and 7 great-grandchildren.

Vaughn lived most of his life in Greene County. He graduated from Greenview High School in Jamestown, Ohio.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday, September 21, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., with visitation one hour prior to the service, from 2-3 pm.
