Vance E. Smith

Love of Family. Full of Life. This is who Vance E. Smith was.

Born December 2, 1957, to the late James E. and Betty R. Smith.

Vance accepted Christ at an early age and was educated in the Dayton, Ohio school district.

Vance was employed at Main Line Supply Company for many years, but still found time to do the things he really loved.

With a maturity beyond his years, Vance always gave you "Real" life advice, which not only impacted you, it motivated you as well. Vance had a personality that would light-up-a room. He was a person that you can never forget, with his loving ways and Truthfulness. And, that's what made Vance the wonderful person that he was.

But most of all, Vance was loved because he was a "People's Person"...who was your everything.

On August 5, 2021, Vance was called home to be with his Lord. He leaves to cherish in his memory: Four Sisters - Judy Smith, Jamie Ross, Charlene Epps, and Jackie Smith; One Brother - James Smith; Three Nephews - Brandon Lee Smith, Marcus D. Ross, and Roland D. Nicholson, Jr.; Two Brothers-in-law - Mark D. Ross and Roland Nicholson (Rock); One Sister-in-law, Susan Smith; and a host of friends.

Family will receive friends Saturday, August 14, 2021 from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 p.m. at Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio. Burial Woodland Cemetery.
