Vallie Mae Kaiser

Kaiser, Vallie M., age 84, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at her home in Miami Township with her youngest son by her side. She was born December 21, 1921 in Bulls Gap, TN to Clarence & Pearl Gulley. She was a wonderful mother, homemaker, wife, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend and will be missed by many. She was a member of the Memorial United Church in Dayton. She worked most of her life and in her later years babysat for a number of families and thoroughly enjoyed it. She was unselfishly devoted to her children and also gave much of her time and energy as a caregiver to her mother and second husband. Mrs. Kaiser is survived by her three children: son and daughter-in-law: Thomas and Robin Oxendine in IL; daughter and her significant other: Debbie Baker and Bob Hayworth in KS; son: Lon in Dayton; loving granddog: Cody in KS. Also sister: Mary Smith in Kettering; niece: Margie Clarke in CO; three grandchildren: Danielle & Chad in IL, Melissa in TN; and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband: Herbert Arnold Oxendine; and her second husband: Harry E. Kaiser. We would like to give special thanks to Carolyn, Missy and Tiffany of Acclaim Hospice for their excellent care and kindness while taking care of Vallie.
