Schmidt, Valeska, 92, of Centerville, OH, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014. Preceded in death by her parents, Verlan and Agnes Twillegear; husband, John Schmidt, and son, Alan Schmidt.
Survived by son, Gerald Schmidt; grandchildren, Melissa Pantall, Michael Schmidt, and Maureen Patry, as well as 8 great grandchildren.
Valeska served in the Navy Waves during WWII, of which she was extremely proud. While living in Roseburg Oregon, prior to Centerville, OH, was Waves National State Director and Regional Director.
Contributions can be made to Hospice of Dayton in her name.
